Aspen is one of the most popular hardwood species used for sauna construction and interior finishing. It is valued for its light natural tone, comfortable thermal conductivity, and resistance to humid environments. Aspen has been used for decades in traditional Finnish saunas and modern saunas for both cladding and bench construction.

Thanks to the absence of resin and proper kiln drying, aspen remains a safe and stable material even at high temperatures.

A sauna combines heat and humidity. Interior materials must be:

• Resistant to temperature fluctuations
• Dimensionally stable
• Comfortable in contact with the body

Aspen meets these requirements due to its natural properties.

Low Thermal Conductivity

STS and STP profiles allow you to choose between a sharper architectural rhythm or a softer, calmer design line.

 The sauna bench is the most heavily used element, as it is in direct contact with the body.
